The Global Insights, Analytics and Commercial Operation (GIACO) team’s mission is to build best-in-class commercial capabilities to drive sustainable growth in the International region for Vertex. 

Roles

The Commercial Excellence placement will support and execute projects focused on our Customer Relationship Management system, Field Metrics, and drive engagement of KAMNET our collaboration portal for our Key Account Managers. This also plays an active role in supporting our Commercial Excellence Council. During the one-year placement, the Commercial Excellence Intern will work closely with the Commercial Excellence Manager/Associate Director and a cross-functional team on project delivery.

Required qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business or mathematics-related university qualification (e.g. Data Science, Marketing, Business Management, Economics)
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Must be independently motivated and a strong team player
  • Evidence of project management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrated analytical abilities
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint expertise
  • Confidence in using/managing large databased and spreadsheets
  • Ability in presentation design and delivery
