We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the Construction Group IT team in based flexibly out of our offices in Leeds.
Wates Construction Group has recently signed off a multi-year, multi-million-pound roadmap of technology transformation and is looking to add to its project teams to aid with the delivery of the work. The business transformation projects will be driven by technology but will also have a strong focus on process and people change. The roadmap supports the ambitious business strategy for growth over the coming years and aims to back the business more productive and efficient through better use of technology.
Reporting into the IT Programme Manager, you will work across projects and programmes to identify business problems and opportunities; analysing, documenting, and validating requirements to then define and implement suitable IT and business solutions for our Construction Business.
Key accountabilities will include
- Plan and manage the analysis tasks throughout a project using a range of best practice analysis tools to elicit, document, analyse and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Manage requirements throughout the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring that there is traceability at all stages
- Work closely with internal IT teams and external 3rd party suppliers to design, test and implement suitable solutions
- Support detailed test planning and execution activities
We are looking for a qualified Business Analyst with experience of undertaking a full end-to-end role on multiple or complex projects/programmes. You will have a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and delivering methodologies such as Waterfall.
To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative and effective communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels as well as the skills to breakdown complex problems and manage projects through to successful completion.
