First, please tell us a little bit about yourself!
“I pursued a degree in Psychology at Coventry University, which was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The teaching, support, and genuine cheerleaders within the academic team helped heal my self-deprecating beliefs. They provided me with the encouragement and backing to apply for one of the most competitive clinical psychology placements — which I successfully secured!
My time at university showed me that I enjoyed data analytics more than I’d anticipated, so I decided to pursue a career that combines my interests in consumer behaviour and data analytics.”
What motivated you to apply for your role?
“I was motivated to apply for the role because of the company’s reputation, and also because of the rotational structure, which means I’ll gain exposure to different aspects of business strategy.”
How did Bright Network help you secure your role?
“Bright Network showed me the vacancy and also helped me keep track of applications, which was really helpful in staying organised and on top of everything.”
What are you most proud of about your journey?
“I’m most proud of overcoming the gruelling process of submitting 80–90 applications and ultimately receiving my dream offer!”
What have you learnt from going through the application process?
“I’ve learnt the power of having a community and support system in place — it can truly make or break the application process.
I’ve also learnt not to underestimate my own capabilities and experience as a candidate. It’s important to remember that if you’re in the room, the company already believes you can do the job.”
What are your tips for people looking to follow in your footsteps?
“My advice would be to stay persistent and have faith. Shoot for the stars — you might just land on the moon!”
Tell us about the future. What’s next?
“I’m excited to finally dive into the industry and start learning and experiencing as much as I can.
I’m looking forward to meeting peers with similar interests and diverse talents to learn from.
And finally, I’m excited about my own progression and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the industry.”
