    Describe your role at Aon

    I manage client’s risk and risk transfer, communicate between client and brokers, prepare insurance contracts based on client’s/market’s needs and offer solutions to client’s problems involving risk.

    What do you find most interesting about your industry?

    It is very people-orientated, the relationship building and maintenance and the fact that we are dealing with physical, tangible things in a risk setting.

    What skills are useful in your role?

    Good communication skills, diligence, networking and people skills.

    What three top tips would you give your fellow Bright Network members wanting to follow in your footsteps?

    1. Reach out to myself or others at Aon to get a more detailed experience.
    2. Know what you want to get into and build some knowledge on this, but not overly detailed knowledge!
    3. Aon is a company with many options. If you start a role and don’t enjoy it, there are other business areas you could potentially explore.
