Empowering Female Futures in Technology Newcastle

By Accenture
2 Dec 2021, 9 a.m.
Application deadline was 28th November 2021, 11:59pm

At Accenture, believe the future workforce is an equal one and set bold goals to accelerate gender equality. Today, more than 275,000 women work at Accenture. Additionally, 50% of our board of directors are women.

Our Empowering Female Futures event series aims to provide an insight into what it is like to work at Accenture, our culture and our focus on inclusion and diversity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help you learn more about Accenture and secure a graduate offer on either our Software Engineering or Technology Architecture Graduate Programme.

What to Expect

The event will include a panel discussion with our Accent on Gender network and there will be a Q&A session with our female analysts on our graduate programmes, where you can ask them about everything from their most rewarding project down to tips on how to navigate a global company. You’ll also learn more about what motivated them to pursue a career in technology and hear about their progression.

You will take part in employability sessions run by one of our Senior Recruiters and find out how to excel at an assessment centre and technical interview, before being invited to one of our assessment centres.

Who Can Apply

The event is open to individuals who have a real passion and flair for technology. You’ll have a real interest in Software Engineering or Technology Architecture and end-to-end design and delivery. Overall, we’re looking for a willingness to try new things, a desire for self-improvement and a strong work ethic. A degree in STEM would be preferred.
