Join us this October as we partner with global financial services firm, Aon, for their exclusive event series: Diverse Future Leaders.
This series is designed to support 40 of our brightest members from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) background in pursuing a career in broking, insurance and reinsurance.
You'll be able to explore the Insurance and Financial Services industry, gain the most sought-after skills by employers and receive tailored advice from working professionals through mentorship from the Aon team. Plus, attendees of the whole series will get fast-tracked to the assessment centre for one of Aon's broking, insurance and reinsurance internships or graduate programmes.

- Friday 20th October: 10am – 4.00pm - Welcome event at Aon’s London headquarters
- Tuesday 31st October: 10am – 11.30am - Virtual Session 1
- Wednesday 8th November: 11:30am – 1:00pm - Virtual Session 2
- Tuesday 14th November: 2:00pm – 3:30pm - Virtual Session 3
- Monday 20th November: 10:00am – 11:30am - Virtual Session 4
Plus, separate 1:1 sessions with your mentor to be organised at times to suit.
All of Aon's insight sessions will be approximately 1.5 hours, with a different topic being covered each week.
Please note: by attending the event, you are committing to attending and participating in all of the sessions. You will need to attend and engage in all of the sessions to be eligible for the fast-tracked application process. The Aon representatives will be on screen during the sessions, so it is expected that you share your camera too when participating in the virtual sessions.
Who can attend?
- Undergraduate Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students studying at a UK university
- 2024 graduates interested in Aon's broking, insurance and reinsurance graduate programmes
- 2025 graduates interested in Aon's broking, insurance and reinsurance internships
- On track for a 2.1 or above and have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their education
- Who hasn't already been unsuccessful in any application to Aon within the past year

Travel details:
The launch event on 20th October will take place at Aon's offices (The Leadenhall Building, 122 Leadenhall St, London EC3V 4AN). The subsequent insight sessions will take place virtually.
For travel to the launch event on 20th October, Aon will support with expenses up to a maximum amount. More details will be shared if you are successful in gaining a place on the programme.

NB: Those who attend all virtual sessions will be fast tracked to an assessment centre on a first-come-first-serve basis, but if we complete recruitment before you receive an invite, we will offer you a fast track to an assessment centre next year, i.e. when you are applying for a graduate role.
