Arup welcomes undergraduates and Master’s students to visit our Glasgow office for our Graduate careers evening.  You will have the opportunity to discuss your career with discipline leads, Directors and existing Graduates.  A full office tour and refreshments will be offered.

For the 2024 intake Arup will have vacancies for engineers, technical specialists in the natural and built environment, planners, project managers, and sustainability and digital specialists, across the UK and many of these in our Glasgow office.  Therefore, this careers event is suited to students completing degrees in relevant subjects.  The opportunities are likely to include:-

 

  • Buildings sector including mechanical, electrical, public health and structural engineers.
  • Energy and water sector including civil, water, process, controls, nuclear, geotechnical and electrical engineers, and natural environment specialists.
  • Transport sector including all aspects of rail planning and engineering, bridges tunnels and other civil structures, highways engineering,  asset management, and all aspects of geotechnics including geology, hydrogeology, and contaminated land specialists.
  • Cities, Planning and Design services including town planning, transport planning, economics, and landscape design
  • Advisory Services including project management, energy management and financial consulting, logistics, social value and stakeholder management
  • Technical Services including Acoustics, Fire, Lighting, Facades, and Resilience, Security & Risk consulting
  • Climate and Sustainability Services including carbon management, environment assessment. ecology and biodiversity
  • Digital specialists
