Arup is a multi–disciplinary firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists, working across every aspect of today’s built environment. Operations Consulting works at the intersection between the built environment and the people who use and experience it. We advise and deliver solutions that transform the operations, organisational performance and capability of our clients’ businesses and projects.
We will be presenting on the following three areas of Operations Consulting, and speakers will include senior consultants and current graduates, with space for Q&A:
People & Organisations
Covering all aspects of transformational business change such as operating models and organisational design, leadership and capability building, collaboration and team effectiveness, behaviour change, resilience and wellbeing.
For our People & Organisations graduate consultants, we prefer a Masters level qualification in Occupational / Organisational Psychology, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Development, Human Resources Management or similar.
Human Factors
Using behavioural science and physical ergonomics for work including human factors integration, work environment assessments and application of key human factors principles to design projects.
For our Human Factors Graduate consultants, we prefer a first degree and/or experience in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Design, System Engineering, User Experience, Occupational or Organisational Psychology.
Assets & Operations
Providing trusted advice and design support to clients throughout the asset- and project- lifecycle, including asset strategy and planning, operational optimisation, transport and logistics advice (including construction logistics), supply chain studies, business process improvement, application of lean and six sigma principles, and operational readiness and testing. For our Assets & Operations graduate consultants, candidate degrees can vary significantly, but may include supply chain and logistics, business analysis, operational or general management, asset management, engineering.
