What moves your mind?
Submit your video and win an international internship.
The challenge
At Ashurst, we’re looking for a certain kind of thinker. Perceptive. Clear‑headed. The kind of person who knows that moving minds isn’t about being the loudest person in the room. It’s about sharp, agile logic and a near‑palpable passion for your subject – whatever that subject might be.
So what moves your mind? Enter our competition, create a 90‑second film on a subject you care about, and you could win one of three internships at one of our offices in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Madrid, Melbourne, Singapore or Sydney.
So what should you talk about?
It could be anything. Think about what makes you passionate. What gets your pulse going. Whether it’s politics or history, culture or science, you’ll have 90 seconds to tell us about your subject and why it matters.
Your topic might be plucked straight from the headlines, or it might not. It might be your interest in a particular point in history, or a particular political issue. It could be your opinion on a business merger. What matters is why it moves you, and why you think it should move our judges.
The judges
To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to convince four exceptional thinkers across a range of fields. They’re looking for the same calibre from our entrants. They want people who can cut to the heart of a topic and make the panel see it from a new perspective. Click here to read about the judges.
The prize
Move our minds and we’ll help you move yours, with an internship at one of our international offices. Working there for a week, you’ll get a taste for our work and experience our culture – not to mention the rhythm of life in your destination city.
