Bain & Company London is running a virtual one-day insights programme, specifically for students in the UK and Ireland who identify as Black. The True North: Discover Bain Workshop is a part of a series of True North events which Bain London host, with the aim to discover more about the management consulting industry as well as highlight careers at Bain for student groups historically underrepresented in consulting.

Bain’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is key to building extraordinary teams. We hire people with exceptional talents, abilities and potential, then create an environment where you can become the best version of yourself.

Everything we do at Bain & Company is guided by True North. True North is an unchanging and true point on a gyro-compass. It is constant, singular and unaffected by factors like magnetic forces or location. For us, True North is our unswerving commitment to always do the right thing by our clients, our people, and our communities.

Who

We are keen to meet Black Heritage students in their penultimate year students from any degree or discipline of any nationality studying at any UK or Irish university. You'll need to be a strong academic achiever, with great communication skills and the drive, passion and energy to solve problems and really make a difference.

Why

This workshop is meant to inspire and inform about the management consulting industry and careers at Bain, as well as to help students develop a network of like-minded individuals. Each participant will be assigned a buddy from our employee network for black professionals, who will provide ongoing mentorship during and after the workshop.

This includes support throughout the interview and application process as you will have the opportunity to participate in early Associate consultant interviews in summer 2022.

How

Submit your application by 11th August 2021. You’ll need to include your CV and answer a few short questions.

We will make sure you have all the information you need to familiarise yourself with these assessments. Until then, you can find helpful preparation tips by visiting the Candidate Preparation Hub and looking at the following assessments: numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning (all under ability tests) and a personality questionnaire.
