Laura Harper-Hinton, Co-Founder and Creative Director - Caravan Restaurants
Laura is the creative director and co-founder of London’s Caravan restaurants, all-day dining spots well known for their beautiful interiors, weekend brunches and espresso martinis. Having opened the first branch in 2010 with her husband Chris Ammermann and their friend and chef Miles Kirby, they now boast 4 beautiful branches, and have published their first cookbook.
Laura deals with the creative and business side of Caravan restaurants, and is using her multidisciplinary skill set to disrupt the restaurant industry. Caravan has become one of London’s most loved spots, and we can’t wait to hear Laura share her story.
Joan Murphy, Co-Founder - Frame
Joan is the Co-founder of Frame, a business disrupting the gym scene as we know it. Along with her business partner, Joan set up Frame as an alternative to the gym approach - ensuring being fit and healthy is also fun and sociable. With £6 million private investment backing, 6 studios, and one of the most Instagrammable spaces in London, Frame are taking the city by storm.
Alongside from co-founding Frame, Joan is a hardcore super Kiwi, with more energy than the Duracell Bunny. She has previously represented New Zealand in a number of random sports, from Pole Vault to Track Cycling. We’re incredibly excited that she’s joining us to share her story of how she disrupted the gym scene with Frame.
Renée Elliott, Founder - Planet Organic
One of the original disruptors of the food & drinks scene, Renée founded Planet Organic in 1994. The Planet Organic mission was to promote health in the community by pushing organic and natural food out of the niche that it was, and in to the mainstream market.
Planet Organic Ltd is now a specialist food retailer, and one of the most loved brands operating in the organic and natural food sector. Renee was into organic food long before it was trendy, and has been instrumental in changing the way we view food and health, putting everything from avocados and kale to chia seeds and spirulina on our radar.
Having played a part in transforming how we eat, she recently co-founded Beluga Bean, which runs courses to empower women with business and life skills. Renée will be joining us to share her journey, from Planet Organic to Beluga Bean.
