Application deadline was 19th April 2024, 11:59pm

We aim at all times to recruit the person most suited to the role and we strongly encourage all candidates of all different backgrounds, identities and ages to apply. However, we particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups such as those who:

  • attended state school or college, and
  • The occupation of your main household earner when you were aged 14 is categorised as coming from a lower socio-economic background*, or
  • Whilst at school you were eligible for free school meals (or you attended a school with ‘above regional average' free school meals**), or
  • Your immediate family did not attend university.

About the opportunity

Are you a proactive and ambitious first year university student looking to gain insight in the dynamic world of accountancy and professional services?

At Mazars, our business is an engine for rapid and consistent career progression, and we are known for giving ambitious people early responsibility and exposure.

You'll be inspired to find your future within professional and financial services and take the first step towards your future career with Mazars.

The Find my Future insight experience is a one-day virtual event created to support and inspire you. Afterwards, you'll also be invited to an exclusive in-person networking event to build your professional network and you'll have early access to apply for our Summer 2025 internship opportunities too!

During your virtual insight event you'll

  • Receive an in-depth introduction to Mazars, our services, culture and offering.
  • Hear from our senior key-note speaker, reflecting on their career and providing professional insights.
  • Take part in skills development sessions, helping you to put your best foot forward in the competitive graduate and placement market.
  • Attend a panel discussion from key members of our business, as they talk about their experience at Mazars and reflect on lessons they have learnt.
  • Understand the Mazars recruitment process, routes to entry and how we support students with additional needs or requirements.

The insight event will take place on 8th May 2024.

About you

We are looking for exceptional individuals who are ambitious and:

  • Studying at a UK university.
  • In the first year of a three-year undergraduate degree or in your second year of a four-year degree.
  • Strong interest in accounting, finance or related fields but we're open to any degree discipline.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn more about the professional services industry.
  • Commitment to self-development & learning.
  • Affinity with our values; in particular, respect for individuals, diversity, and integrity.

This is a virtual event so you must have access to a laptop or tablet with a reliable internet connection.

Strong academic performance is important; however, we understand that things don't always go to plan. Our recruitment process looks at your whole self – academic achievements as well as other experiences in which you have grown and developed.

We do not provide sponsorship for our insight programmes. However, you can apply if you are studying at a UK based university and hold a valid Student Visa for the duration of the insight programme.
