Solicitor Series Part 2 - Standing out from the crowd

Thinking about how you can make your application stand out? Wondering what graduate recruiters are looking for? Looking for an opportunity to network with solicitors and legal graduate recruiters?

This virtual event will explore how to stand out from the crowd with a variety of panel discussions to choose from, ranging from trainees, newly qualified solicitors and graduate recruiters to senior associates and partners. Ask the experts how to stand out and really showcase your abilities.

Participating firms include Gately, Charles Russell Speechlys, Clifford Chance, Shakespeare Martineau, EY and Government Legal Service

We will have 3 panels:

  1. Alternatives to private practice - This session is aimed at giving students an insight into the career paths of the panellists as well as hear their advice for future lawyers, with a focus on encouraging students to consider a range of legal employers rather than limiting yourself to Private Practice.  
  2. Graduate Recruitment Panel: This session is aimed at giving students an insight into the recruitment process at various firms as well as more general application advice and advice for future lawyers
  3. Trainee Panel: This session is aimed at giving students an insight into trainee’s  career paths and their advice for future lawyers.
