The role
This is a thrilling opportunity for a Mobile App Developer to join the Varian Intelligent Data Analytics team. In this role, you will dive into the exploration and visualization of machine data, crafting intuitive mobile interfaces that bridge the gap between machine data and our service engineers. Collaborating closely, we will develop a mobile application tailored for our data-driven service strategy, enabling engineers globally to more effectively visualize and analyze data through a user-friendly mobile platform.

As a Mobile App Developer Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of a mobile application according to project requirements which includes designing, developing, debugging, and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and project managers to ensure applications meet user needs and business goals.
- Learning and Implementation: Learn and use new mobile development technologies and frameworks as advised by senior developers or as required by the project.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing processes to identify bugs and issues within applications, ensuring they are resolved before deployment.
- Documentation: Assist in the creation of documentation for application development processes, code, and user manuals.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from user testing and team reviews into application development to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Research: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development to suggest improvements and innovations for the projects.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Swift for iOS, or cross-platform development tools like React Native (Expo) .
- Understanding of the Mobile Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with the entire lifecycle of mobile app development, from concept to deployment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
- Collaborative Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple aspects of an application simultaneously.
