About the Role
This is a development role with the role holder becoming a key employee in the manufacturing organisation working cross functionally with other departments to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, service and productivity.
You will be trained in the technical skill-sets necessary to manufacture high quality Influenza vaccines to learn and develop skills within a 2-year training programme consisting of a series of placements in Seqirus’ manufacturing departments.
- During the placement periods, you will be asked to undertake daily tasks in the function as well as complete a 6-month project in a specific area of interest
- Likely Placement areas would consist of assignments within Primary and Secondary Manufacturing areas or within Operational Excellence,
- At the end of the 2 year period you are expected to be capable to take up a key role at the Site in ensuring the manufacture of high quality vaccines in a compliant, efficient and cost effective manner.
A typical day during on will be immersed in the day to day challenges relating to high quality biological processing in a right first time environment.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine desire and enthusiasm for implementing theoretical/academic techniques to practical work in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector with the level of passion, drive and commitment necessary to embrace the learning opportunity.
Education Requirements
A minimum 2:1 degree in a Manufacturing, Scientific or Engineering discipline is essential
