As an Analytic Consultant you will be responsible for the development and delivery of statistical & machine learning models and optimization applications. You’ll develop your skills by working on client projects throughout the EMEA region, including travel on-site, and will be able to take on early responsibility for their success.
You’ll have access to a wide range of training resources and the opportunity to engage with colleagues across the business to develop knowledge of FICO technology and build your professional network. Throughout your time as a graduate, you’ll be supported and mentored by your manager and a peer-buddy within our experienced analytics team.
What you’ll contribute
- Work closely with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into unique analytic solutions.
- Combine data analysis, mathematical modelling, data science, and consulting skills to solve complex problems for our clients and add value to their business.
- Build analytic models using a variety of statistical approaches and explain technical results to client stakeholders.
- Learn about FICO technology and how it can be used to improve our clients’ decision-making processes.
- Make use of FICO technology such as Analytics Workbench, Decision Optimizer, or Xpress to develop standalone models and decision strategies, or end-to-end software applications.
- Train clients in analytic methodology and the use of FICO software.
- Continually extend your own capabilities and expertise to better advise clients on their strategic direction.
What we're seeking
- Strong academic background in a relevant technical degree in Data Science, Operational Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM subject or equivalent commercial experience.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language, for example, Python, R, Mosel, java, JavaScript, etc.
- Commitment and passion to pursue a career in technology and data science.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills & evidence-based approach to solve complex real-world problems.
- Aptitude for translating business problems into analytic solution statements.
- Strong appetite for learning and exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to think independently.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this role including the ability to translate complicated concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional demeanor, motivation to take on early responsibility, and ability to maintain high performance under time pressure.
- Able to speak English fluently in a business environment.
