This role will be responsible for aiding the delivery of the 7IM marketing campaign and events programme for the Private Client, Intermediary Solutions and Platform Partnerships business lines.

Key responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution: assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns, which could involve tasks such as email marketing, advertising, and promotional events.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: entering and organising marketing data, as well as creating basic reports and presentations for the marketing team.
  • Coordination: collaborating with different teams within the organisation, such as design, sales, and public relations, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Event Support: assisting in planning and organising events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Marketing Software and Tools: utilising various marketing software and tools for tasks like email campaigns, social media scheduling, and data analysis.
  • Content Creation: contributing to content creation efforts by assisting in the writing of articles, commentary social media posts, award submissions, press releases and other marketing materials.
  • Social Media and PR Support: helping support and maintain social media accounts (including posting content, responding to comments, tracking engagement metrics), as well as supporting in the delivery of PR activity.
  • Market Research and Trends Analysis: working with the Marketing Insights Manager in keeping track of emerging market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviours to provide insights for future marketing strategies.
  • Assisting in Marketing & Comms Squad Meetings: participating in meetings to contribute ideas, share updates, and discuss ongoing marketing projects.
  • Other, as reasonably required by your line manager and 7IM.
  • While not directly interacting with customers, your actions should align with upholding the FCA's Consumer Duty principles, thereby contributing to fair and beneficial outcomes for our clients.

  • A marketing qualification would be a bonus but relevant experience and attitude are more important.
  • No specific qualifications are required but the candidate should be well educated – English and Maths at good grades at a minimum.
