    The role

    The rapid growth and diversification of the business, including the creation of the Investor Solutions (“IS”) division, has prompted the requirement for additional resource within the Commercial team, supporting IS in organic growth by actively contributing to new business opportunities, helping the division to hit annual growth targets.

    Role responsibilities 

    • Familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
    • Assist in the signing of new clients for the division
    • Help support management of the IS pipeline, including CRM platform management
    • Help liaise with the IQ-EQ regional/divisional POCs as appropriate, for sales and legals
    • Support and help develop new projects and business development processes, including providing system demos (internal and external) where required. Training will be provided in this regard
    • Market research on competitors, prospects and market trends to improve discussions during new business meetings
    • Attend meetings with clients and take detailed notes for follow up discussions
    • Contribute within division roadmap conversations, including discussing ideas for platform growth
    • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines across different time zones
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff and clients

    Qualifications

    Key competencies for position and level

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, marketing, or related field
    • 0 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred (Preferably with knowledge and experience within the Private Equity and/or Alterative Investment industry).
    • Excellent written, numerical and communication skills.
    • Ability to quickly learn and use new technology – knowledge of SQL/Tableau beneficial but not required
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
    • Strong organization and project management skills
    • Friendly and personable demeanour
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
    • Interest in studying towards professional industry qualifications
    • Languages beneficial but not required
