Our mission in the R&C function is to provide assurance, advice and challenge with a view to driving risk awareness and accountability across our global business.

So it requires people with strong analytical skills, and a passion for problem solving. An ability to build relationships and communicate effectively, whatever the situation. And a desire to collaborate, so you can make the most of your strengths.

From day one, you’ll contribute to our ambitions whilst developing your skills and knowledge. During the 24-month programme you will be given real work with tangible outputs within the R&C function, allowing you to gain exposure to real business situations, with real responsibility. Our graduates will complete a variety of placements across different teams such as: enterprise risk, anti-financial crime, operational risk, compliance, market conduct and investment risk governance.

Regardless of which team you join within the R&C function, you will gain a depth of experience; getting the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals across our business and engage in development activities with your peers on programme.

Throughout you programme you will build knowledge within the department you are in as well as having the opportunity to build a network.

    What our graduate programme offers

Our graduate development programme provides you with the opportunity to rotate around the R&C function for six-month placements giving you exposure to the wide range of activity undertaken by R&C.

To support our graduates to get going quickly, we provide an induction and development programme giving you access to hear from senior professionals across the company, complete soft and technical skills training courses and get to know your cohort of graduates.

Further to formal structured development programme and rotational opportunities, as a graduate you will be supported to work towards a recognised industry qualification.
