    • Commercial activities including Asset Based Finance and Transaction Banking which provides cash management and trade finance to over 500 corporate clients

    Your job

    Transaction Banking provides UK payments solutions to ABN AMRO corporate clients to help them setup their UK business, generate revenue from customers, pay their suppliers, manage their employee and tax payments, handle Foreign Exchange risk and mitigate their supply chain risk in order to create sustainable growth.

    Our key product offerings are cash management and trade finance which includes corporate bank accounts in 16 currencies, automated cash pooling, credit interest solutions, payments and ebanking, corporate credit cards, foreign exchange services, and trade services products such as performance bonds. These solutions enable our clients to manage their working capital efficiently to grow their businesses.

    What will your responsibilities look like?

    • Build an understanding of cash management products, learn how these are used to meet our client’s’ requirements.
    • Data Quality projects including picking up a key data integrity project that will require strong excel skills and attention to detail
    • Stakeholder management including finding out where data is sourced, and then connecting with stakeholders to gain access to that data to complete the integrity project
    • Supporting relationship managers to drive forward a client revenue project to create a monthly holistic client-level revenue report that brings in data from various sources
    • Help with ad-hoc KYC projects

    ABN AMRO UK is part of the Corporate Banking business line and operates the following businesses in the UK:

    • Corporate and Institutional Banking which includes Corporate Banking, Clearing, Global Markets - Sales & Trading and Financial Institutions
    • Commercial Banking which includes Asset Based Finance and International Desk, which provides transactional banking services

    Our business lines are supported by a number of functions such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, Finance (Including Tax), Business Management and Human Resources. We currently employ approx. 380 people in the UK.

    Your profile

    • Penultimate year undergraduate student (studying a relevant degree) or a recent graduate.
    • Enthusiastic individuals with contemporary values, initiative, and a willingness to learn
    • A motivated interest in Financial Services
    • Ability to communicate clearly and comprehensively with a variety of audiences
    • Solid IT skills; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; strong proficiency in Excel
    • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
    • Excellent collaboration skills
    • Effective at following instructions
