    Consulting Industrial Placement

On this 12-month scheme, you’ll be immersed in live consulting project work from day one. Intense and rewarding, this programme will allow you to make your mark on a global business, while building connections with talented people across our organisation.

From the beginning, you’ll have a ‘buddy’ who will give you the experienced advice you need, whenever you need it. Then you’ll learn about the project you’ve been assigned to, which could be in any part of our consulting workforce. From here on in, you’ll take on real responsibility – you could be involved in undertaking research, compiling reports, analysing complex information or testing software.

Whatever your day-to-day role, the aim is to give you an insight into what life is like at the sharp end of business and technology evolution. By the end of the scheme, you will come away with some valuable skills – and hopefully an offer to join us when you graduate.

    What’s in it for you

At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes 30 days of vacation per year, access to app-based fitness classes and discounts on a range of gyms, private medical insurance and three days’ leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

    What we’re looking for

You’ll currently be studying a STEM or business-related degree that offers the option of an industrial placement. A strong communicator with great organisational skills and a real passion for IT, you’ll want to know more about how technology can make a real difference to business.

We’re also looking for you to demonstrate a passion for technology in either your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.

If you do not have the option for an industrial placement as part of your degree, unfortunately we are unable to consider your application.

    Where you’ll work

Accenture is a people first business which thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing and building strong connections.

You will need to live within commutable distance of your assigned office which will be London, and you will be expected to come into the office regularly.  Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK and sometimes outside of the UK. You will be expected to work on client site or in your assigned office for a minimum of 3 days a week (or more depending on business requirements).
