What you'll be doing
On this 3-week virtual internship, you’ll learn the fundamental skills of front-end web development, covering HTML & CSS, JavaScript, Github and Debugging, whilst collaborating in teams on a case challenge with Code First Girls.
You will have the opportunity to build connections with talented people from across our organisation and hear from inspiring females to learn about their personal journeys, experiences, and why they chose Accenture.
But it’s not all work and no play! You’ll also participate in weekly socials, get some exciting freebies, and have the opportunity to network with a diverse range of people from across the business to really give you that all-round understanding of our company culture.
The aim is to give you an insight into what life is like at the sharp end of business and technology. By the end of the scheme, you will come away with loads of invaluable skills in addition to gaining understanding of the role of a Software Engineer at Accenture and potentially an offer to join us when you graduate.

Where you’ll work
The programme is totally virtual, which means you can work from anywhere in the UK! You will have countless opportunities to network with your fellow interns, your mentors, analysts from across the business and will work in small teams, as a cohort and individually throughout your time on the programme.
What we’re looking for
You’ll currently be in your penultimate year of university, studying a degree in computer science, software engineering or a technology-related area of study. However, if you have a real passion for technology and can demonstrate an understanding of how it can be used, we will consider a non-STEM degree.
A real interest in software engineering and end-to-end design and delivery is beneficial, and you’ll know a thing or two about programming. Overall, we’re looking for a willingness to try new things, a passion for self-improvement and a strong work ethic.
