    Due to the continued international growth and success of the Firm, we are looking for an additional individual to join the E-Billing team, contributing to the success of managing the firmwide E-Billing process for the UK and International offices.

    As a E-Billing Analyst, you will process E-bill requests and E-billing portal matter management requests, ensuring the accuracy of matter and timekeeper rate information and that bills are submitted efficiently in line with client terms.

    From the outset this opportunity will give you a high level of stakeholder contact and is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to further develop their e-billing skills to bcome a subject matter expert supporting a crucial element of the firm's finance function.

    The team

    • The team, based in Leeds is managed by the Billing, Rates and Data Manager, consisting of a Senior E-Billing Analyst and E-billing Analyst. With the additional support of the Billing Team, the team has significant knowledge across all areas of legal billing.
    • The team liaises daily with a variety of stakeholders across the business, including fee earners and PA's as well as supporting the operational Group Finance teams.
    • The team supports system/process projects across the Group Finance directorate and there are opportunities to be involved with the project team to provide feedback and test changes.

    What to expect in this role

    • Submitting LEDES and PDF invoices to various Ebilling portals successfully
    • Utilising the Ebilling Hub to create & maintain client configurations
    • Responsible for ensuring agreed rates are applied accurately, liaising with internal stakeholders when required
    • Maintaining client and matter level data relating to client billing arrangements
    • Maintaining budget/matter information in supplier portals to ensure an efficient upload process
    • Working closely with the billing team to ensure any guidelines are captured at billing stage
    • Liaising with credit control regarding invoice status to reduce debtor days
    • Resolving invoice rejections with PA's and Ebilling portal contacts
    • Working with the Senior E-billing Analyst to support on new Ebilling portal implementations
    • Point of contact for all Ebilling queries and escalating where required
    • Undertake ad hoc projects to support the wider finance function as required
    • Ensuring compliant with the Firm's regulatory obligations, policies and procedures
    • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders both in finance and the wider business

    Your areas of knowledge and expertise

    • Previous experience of working in a finance function and/or legal environment
    • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple complex tasks
    • Strong IT skills
    • Ability to work independently at times with good judgement on when to liaise/consult with colleagues for support or to escalate issues to ensure efficiency
    • 3E and Ebilling Hub experience preferable
    • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to build effective relationships
    • Applies a commercial mindset
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Flexibility – able to work non-standard hours when deadlines require
    • Training will be provided but a high level of interest in developing IT /systems skills will be a key to success in this role.
    • The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
