This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a graduate level role in our fast-growing innovative Travel Insurance Product as part of the Travel Pricing team.

If you are a recent graduate or about to graduate, this could be the perfect opportunity to build your career in an analytical world and master the skills needed to be an excellent pricing analyst. Prior work experience is not required for the role but the candidate must demonstrate willingness to work hard and succeed through prior college course-work and/or extracurricular activities.

    • Supporting the technical implementation and testing of price changes.
    • Liaising with peers in Motor, Household and Pet Pricing departments for collaboration and cross-product learning.
    • Respond to customer, agent and underwriting queries and use these to help improve our pricing structure.

    Qualifications

    • A degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above in a STEM or strong numeric discipline.

    Key skills

    • Ability to analyse data and provide strategic insight.
    • Strong organisational skills to help manage workloads and prioritise tasks from a variety of stakeholders.
    • Good communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Confident in presenting insights to stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently as well as able to feed into wider teamwork.
    • Demonstrable ability to combine analytical thinking based on numbers, together with common sense and imagination.
    • Experience of using programming tools such as SQL is desirable but not essential.

    Location

We are working in a hybrid approach and so are in the office twice per week in Cardiff. We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.

    Interview process

There will be a test as well as a 2 stage interview via Teams.
