    The Finance Data Management department is responsible for the design and automation of the core reporting that supports all financial reporting both internally and externally.

    The function governs appropriate and controlled use of data, working with IT and the wider business to manage provenance data and data related systems for the organisation.

    The role

    As a Junior Finance Systems Developer you will develop and deliver automated data solutions (Data Stage, SAS) to end users, within the principles established by the Finance Data Engineering Manager and Head of Finance Data Management. You will continually improve existing SAS and Data Warehouse processes, including documentation and controls. You will manager risk through adherence to policies. 

    We’d love to hear from you if you have:

    • Knowledge of BI and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) toolsets (Data Stage, SAS, Cognos BI)
    • Knowledge of SAS or Data Stage (Infosphere) product suites
    • Awareness project lifecycle, documentation and methodologies
    • Some experience or project in Data Engineering
    • Awareness of JIRA and project management techniques
    • Educated to degree level in IT or data related subject
