We’re Aegon. We’re a company of ambitious, collaborative, problem-solvers who get things done. We strive to make sure everyone that works for us feel seen, heard, and valued – so we’re looking for like-minded people to join us.

We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Insurance, Savings, Investments.

This role will be within our Platform Centre and the focus is within the Investment Administration (Finance) – Dealing, Asset & Fund Event team. While the team is well established and capable, there is a need to adapt and move with the changing needs of the business.

    Key accountabilities

    • Dealing: ensuring that trades are aggregated from investor level to nominee and subsequently placed via electronic or contingency methods, including conversion instructions. Also includes contract note/settlement and reporting processes across different asset types.
    • Assets: ensuring that the assets are maintained and available to trade. Activities entail opening/closing, price and fund data maintained in central database.
    • Corporate Action/Fund Event: Processing Corporate Actions and Fund Events. This involves accurate recording of the events, generating communications for clients and ensuring the client records are accurately updated.

You will also be in liaison with Fund Managers, designated Stockbrokers and other associated third-party providers to resolve any process exceptions; so being able to communicate clearly across different functions and with varying stakeholders is key.

If you have a flexible, proactive can-do, focused approach and an aptitude to problem solve against tough deadlines you will thrive in a successful and challenging environment. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and can work autonomously or within a team structure to a proven track record.
