    The role

    We are looking for a competent IT Support Specialist to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems including Windows, macOS and Linux OS. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them or escalate them to the relevant team.

    Serving as the first point of contact for Afiniti employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, Chat and email performing remote troubleshooting using remote tools. Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the end user by following IT Support SOP.

    Key responsibilities

    • Configuring and deployment of Domain environment for users.
    • To manage and troubleshoot IT LAN/WAN infrastructure.
    • Setup and configure Print Server and File server for different departments.
    • Dealing with Networks related issues like proxy and port error.
    • Research, resolves, and responds to questions received via telephone, emails, and Tickets.
    • Responsible to prepare Support documentation and assist in software’s licensing.
    • Uses technical expertise to provide accurate solutions to users in a timely manner.
    • Recommends systems modifications and updates to reduce client issues.
    • Conducts regular trend analysis, documents, and reports results.
    • Provides high degree of courteous and helpful customer service at all times.
    • Repairing and replacing IT equipment like Laptop/Desktop as necessary
    • Help users to install their development tools.
    • Provide Support to configure and install the development tools
    • Provide solution and guidance to the users to make their own test environment related to their application.
    • Provide and guide user for solving password problems
    • Managing the assets transaction on regular basis for maintaining Inventory.
    • Managing obsolete stock and also replacing the RAM/Hard Drive and Battery of the faulty machines to make it workable.
    • Using Solarwinds Portal for managing the Inventory data accuracy on regular basis.
