We are looking for a professional and organised Paralegal to join the Ageas UK in-house legal team. The team provides support across all aspects of the Ageas UK businesses, with the principal area of focus being the review, negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts. Under the supervision of a senior Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files.

Main responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing commercial contracts, including NDAs, data sharing agreements, and supplier agreements.
- Conduct research and support the provision of legal advice and assistance in relation to company, commercial, data protection, intellectual property, consumer protection legislation FCA regulation, and industry practices.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, assist in document management, and promote the smooth running of the department.
- Undertake additional activities as required by the legal team.
Skills and experience
- Law degree; or Non-law degree and Graduate Diploma in Law.
- Understanding of English commercial and contract law
- Good legal research skills.
- Maintains high professional standards and good administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and to manage time effectively.
- Uses initiative and offers ideas but also knows when to refer to others.
