    The Opportunity

    We now have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate to join our Cement Manufacturing Plant in Cauldon, Staffordshire as a Graduate Mechanical Project Engineer. This is a full time permanent position where you’ll learn to become an expert in a heavy engineering industry, with a bias to bulk materials handling. You’ll initially spend time in various departments on site including Production, Maintenance and Projects all with a goal of gaining the best foundation to your career by understanding the production process, plant reliability and Capex projects. 

    After completion of your initial bespoke training plan, and with your new found knowledge of the cement manufacturing industry you’ll manage key projects across this heavy engineering industry. With the support of senior team members you’ll offer your engineering expertise and gathered knowledge of the manufacturing process on projects valued up to £10m.

    At our cement manufacturing plant we are going through an exciting period of site development and projects including the recent investment of £13m for Carbon reducing equipment all part of Net Zero pledge. 

    Who you are

    • You’ll have completed a degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
    • You’ll either have the experience of leading on projects or a desire to build your skills in this area of engineering.
    • You’ll have a keen interest in developing a career within the building materials industry.
    • We’re in a remote location so you’ll need access to your own transport to get to our site.
