    About the role

    We are expanding our Marketing team, which is focused on creating a compelling consumer brand, proposition and bringing that to market across Europe.

    We are looking for a content writer to lead our written output across all channels, with a strong initial focus on online – ultimately to help customers understand our products and services, drive acquisition and customer retention. This is a significant opportunity to join a small and growing business with big ambitions.

    Reporting to the head of design and working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll be a key member of a tiny but growing marketing team and have a direct, massive impact on the growth of the business. This mission is fundamental to the company wide ambition of opening up a nascent category and becoming the brand synonymous with it.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the execution of brand content to drive technology adoption and brand awareness to maximise sales growth.
    • Writing of informational articles to support brand, PR and SEO.
    • Written and creative support on all channels including website, social content, digital ad creative, customer communications, PR releases, sales brochures and product information sheets.
    • Development of communications that help consumers understand the benefit of our product and produce locally relevant content with our design studio for our website and supporting channels.
    • Lead content research and insights to drive actionable improvements in customer communication and channels.
    • Third party agency management and other external suppliers to ensure that all content collateral / activity is produced to a very high standard and on brand.
    • Collaborate with global Marketing Team (Growth, brand, communications and PR) to ensure all content is available and known for adoption in multiple locales

    • You are a superb communicator with a flair for communications and a natural at making seemingly complex things very simple for our customers.
    • You are someone who can demonstrate strong relationship building based upon mutual trust and great communications, and who thrives on building a high performance, customer obsessed culture. 
    • You have great interpersonal skills and proven ability to operate effectively with other members of the business in product, design, commercial & development and Sales - in order to ensure that cross functional initiatives are effectively executed. 
    • You will also be able to demonstrate you are organised and can multitask in a friendly, specialised, fast paced, intellectually challenging, proactive environment and work quickly to master detail under pressure. The ability to remain calm and bring order to complex tasks with tight deadlines is essential.
    • You will be able to learn and display knowledge of a sophisticated and technical product, and write about it with authority and accuracy You have a flair for innovation, an entrepreneurial mindset and working in a start-up environment, no task is beneath you and new challenges are actively sought out.

    About your experience

    • You have marketing experience, preferably in the tech, energy or sustainability industry.
    • You have a strong knowledge of copywriting best practices Excellent copywriting skills and creative judgement.  
    • You have proven experience writing content and articles in line with technical SEO best practice. 
    • You have proven experience writing across multiple different formats; examples could include, long form, ad content, commercial and informational along side many more. 
    • You have exceptional data interpretation and manipulation skills and experience.
    • You have experience in successfully navigating complex matrix organisations to deliver the best outcomes for the customer.
