Who you will be joining
Our UK Graduate Programmes provide exceptional graduates the opportunity to be part of future of aviation. Over the 2/3 year period it combines rotational placements with focused training and developing your network and skills within the business.
From your first day, you will join your initial area after being guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and customers and suppliers.
Your Graduate network and Generation-Airbus colleagues will share experiences, offer support, create social bonds and form a real platform for development, fun and career progression.
What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Graduate Operations & FDIR Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following;
- On a typical project, you’ll start at the design phase by reviewing customer requirements and defining the initial operational and FDIR concept, including mission scenario, operational constraints, recovery levels and actions etc. Moving into development you’ll go into the detail, defining specific monitors, interfaces with software and database, writing the User Manual and Flight Operations Procedures and finally testing and verifying.
- We cooperate trans-nationally with teams in Toulouse, France, and Friedrichshafen, Germany, and encourage mobility.
What we look for
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate;
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
- Maximum of three years relevant work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
