In addition, the Service Architect and Designer will have a wider role in being an integral part of the team responsible for setting and improving Service Architecture and Transition processes and procedures across the entire Service Management business.

    • Communication will take place with the all parties, including the Service Desk, to ensure responsibilities and timescales are known
    • Acceptance into Service criteria will be agreed and managed to enable transition into service support
    • Service Level Agreements and any performance reporting will be agreed with the operational Service Delivery Manager
    • Working with the operational Service Delivery Manager, who will take over once transition to live takes place, ensure that the Acceptance into Service criteria are met
    • Existing documentation may require updating e.g. Service Management Plans, reporting templates
    • Work with the Requirements Manager to ensure all documented and agreed requirements are met
    • Work with the Test Team to ensure the service is verified and validated
