Then please consider this exciting placement opportunity - As an Airbus Operating System placement student you will ,during the course of your program, develop your lean process knowledge through the application of the Airbus Operating System into the A320 & A350 production lines working in collaboration with experienced change management professionals.

What will you be doing

During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include;

  • You will conduct detailed Value Stream Analysis with both operational and functional teams to improve the flow of the product through the factory!
  • You will facilitate continuous improvement activities such as Kaizens to identify and remove waste from our industrial system!
  • You will coach both operational and functional leaders to drive standards into the way we work!

Please note our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement, studying towards a degree in one of the following:

  • Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Business
