Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Graduate to join our team within Connected Intelligence in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality Connected Intelligence, you will support initiatives and implement changes that will better enable our European team to deliver a right first time approach across all our projects: such us variety of secure comms, Skynet or cyber security related activities.
This involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicant to be able to be security cleared to a UK SC level.
In this position you will support the transformation on how the Connected Quality Function is guaranteeing current & future conformity of products/services to meet and anticipate customer requirements.
You will work with transversal teams from different countries and Programme Lines of the company, you will coordinate the CI Quality participation with different key stakeholders across the business at all levels to achieve your goals.
You should be open to learning and able to adapt quickly to new and unfamiliar topics. You will be able to interpret and translate complex information, dealing with issues of various scale and supporting colleagues across Europe to find resolutions and implement improvements.
What you will be doing
- You will gain experience in project management and communication skills, being able to understand technical concepts. You will lead on internal marketing style activities and build upon your people management and facilitation skills, during this development program.
- Lead the ongoing management of CI Quality methods and tools (quality analytics, anomaly management….); to support our quality teams across Europe.
- Lead the CI performance dialogue activities (understand the why and provide solutions to improve quality)
- Contribute to the continuous improvements for our processes to adapt to the evolving business needs.
- Lead the setup of quality surveillance environment (KPI’s, Practical problem solving….) moving from reactive to predictive quality. This will enhance and contribute to make quality the organisation that leads, acts and inspires across connected intelligence.
- Support the CI competence and skills development to meet expectations from the products and services evolution.
