What you will be doing:
Working within the Manufacture, Assembly Integration & Test department here at Stevenage, you will support the Industrial Means and Tooling team to provide Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) essential to the manufacture of Satellites and other space products.
Working closely with other functions you will ensure internal, external and stakeholders needs are met or exceeded whilst operating within Airbus’ high standards for safety and quality.
This varied role will allow you to spend some time on the shop floor supporting Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People activities, as well as learning how MGSE is designed, stressed and manufactured and the importance the Industrial Means team plays within the business.
You will also take responsibility for identifying, implementing and assisting with improvement initiatives to support the Top Company Objectives (TCO).

- Enrolled on a Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering Degree or similar
- Google Suite experience would be a plus
- Team player
- Problem solving skills, with ability to improvise and find solutions
- Passion for the industry
- Attention to detail
