We are looking for a motivated undergraduate to join us in the Facilities Management & Real Estate (FMRE) function, based at the Broughton site in North Wales.
Working as part of a transnational team the mission extends across the full scope of the Airbus organisation (covering all 3 divisions; commercial, Defence & Space and Helicopters).
The Performance team is responsible for the governance and processes which underpin the way we manage the FMRE business, covering critical activities such as Sustainability, Workforce Planning, Project Performance & Finance and much more.
What you will be doing
In this mission you will be working directly with the Performance leader and will play a pivotal role to support the UK team. This will offer you a fantastic opportunity to work across many different countries covering multiple Airbus divisions.
This experience will give you an incredible amount of breadth. You will be working with people across all levels of the organisation, encompassing a variety of topics, from managing sustainability activities like reducing energy and carbon emissions, to large scale projects, like building new factories and everything in-between.
During your internship you will lead your own activities and projects and undergo your own personal development programme. You will be supported to nurture the skills needed to be successful in business and encouraged as you harness your own leadership style. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, learning to coach, educate and influence to support the improvement of business performance.
- Define the key metrics on which business performance will be managed;
- Lead your own projects e.g. Lead a project to change the IT tools used to manage performance;
- Act as a deputy to the Performance Leader;
- Drive the improvement of performance in key areas;
- Contribute to the senior management performance reviews.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Business Management, IT, Project Management and related subjects;
- Knowledge in data analysis;
- Google Suite;
- Open minded and able to work with international teams;
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills;
- Leadership skills.
