We are looking for an intern to join Airbus Defence & Space in Stevenage, joining our rapidly expanding family of highly motivated and skilled software engineers.
You will become part of a multidisciplinary and highly skilled team which is constantly striving to deliver high quality solutions for exciting and innovative projects. You will also be part of our much wider, transnational, on-board software engineering community spread across Europe, providing you with the prospects and opportunities to be part of an even wider variety of space related activities and missions.
You will be based in Stevenage in the UK, where a quarter of all the satellites orbiting earth were manufactured, and which has always been at the forefront of innovation and technology.

What you will be doing
- You will shadow the software development team to discover the Space Software Engineering.
- You will contribute on improvement ideas within a transnational organisation.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Software Engineering;
- Experience in software engineering, some coding;
- Curious and interested in Space;
- Fluent in the English language (both oral and written).
