The role
The Finance department at ALD Automotive is responsible for accurate financial reporting, transactional accounting and treasury management. The department’s remit includes the production of Financial Statements; Tax Reporting; Financial & Strategic Planning; Management Accounts Reporting; Treasury & Cashflow Management; processing of invoices, payments & receipts.
This is an outstanding entry level opportunity for the successful applicant to join our Treasury & Reporting Team. Your primary objective will be to support the MI and Treasury Teams in reporting and administration tasks, take responsibility for running daily, monthly and weekly reports, reconciliations and error checking whilst also covering the posting of journals and invoices and checking loan amounts are accurate as agreed
Initially offered as a 12 Month Fixed Term the successful applicant can expect to gain fantastic experience, the opportunity to expand upon existing analytical skills and to work within a market leading business leading the way in our field.
Summary of responsibilities
- Ensuring scheduled daily / weekly / monthly business reports are run as intended with accompanying commentary and act as a point of contact for queries and enhancement requests
- Enter Funding journals onto Accounting system
- Assist in Cashflow management and Funding requirements
- Assist with the administration of our banking apps and troubleshooting of queries
- Own Finance sharepoint site and ensure access is at the required level.
- Ensure all process documentation is accurate and up to date
- Assist in the delivery of Audits and identify gaps in reporting
Skills, Experience & Background
- Strong academic background with an affinity for data / numbers
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in managing and communicating with a range of stakeholders, both inside and outside of the finance department
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with proven ability in taking ownership for resolving problems and queries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
