What you’ll do
The Business Intelligence Centre (BIC) drives the firm’s business development. You will join the team that works closely with our consulting staff to generate lead opportunities, manage opportunity pipelines, provide company and industry research, conduct business analysis, and provide proposal support. As such, your work will be highly visible - and give you a window into the work we do and how we solve critical business challenges.
The programme serves as a springboard to consulting at AlixPartners. During the program, you learn by doing. The Business Analyst Accelerated Consulting Programme offers a dynamic learning environment designed to equip you with a core consulting skill base.
The internship programme at BIC serves as an introduction to the work of a consultant. We offer a dynamic learning environment where you will practice core research and analysis skills by working together with consultants and business analysts. The role involves supporting the firm’s business development initiatives, identifying potential opportunities and developing intellectual capital. Initially, you will support client-facing teams with industry research and company analysis.
What you’ll need
- Masters degree studentClear and concise communication skills and able to interact with team members at varying levels
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated. Curious to learn about various industries and types of consulting engagements
- Team player and dependable
- Effective organizational skills with high attention to detail; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
