    We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Radiographer to join our team. You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme at our Wigan Pet CT Centre.

    The role

    If you are a newly qualified radiographer, then this is the opportunity for you. Alliance Medical have a robust clinical competency framework and can provide the essential training you will need in PET-CT. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and clinical competency pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors.

    You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff.  At Wigan PET-CT centre we have a modular unit there, that solely focuses on PET-CT imaging, scanning The Christie Patients 6 days per week.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Radiographer to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant will not need experience with PET-CT imaging procedures although this may be an advantage. The unit operates 6 days per week 12hrs per day, between the hours of 7am-9pm. Flexibility is required as you will be working as part of a small team.

    Skills And Experience

    We are looking for Radiographers with a minimum of 12 months of experience and ideally some experience in cross sectional imaging.

    You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.
