Your role in the team
We have a 12-month Student Placement opportunity commencing in Summer 2023 within our Learning & Development Team.
Learning & Development Administrator
Based in our Belfast office, the Learning & Development Administrator will be part of a busy learning and development team which plays a strategic role in global skills development, including a particular focus on the learning needs of staff across three locations in NI.
- Providing administrative support to the department for day to day training tasks e.g. sending appointments, managing rosters, working with MIS on technical set up of courses, meeting and greeting trainers, handling communications and answering queries, printing notes and necessary training documentation.
- Providing administrative support for organizational wide projects such as Leadership Programmes, Technical Training projects, and other related events and initiatives. These programmes will be a mix of virtual and classroom-based delivery.
- Take a lead role in co-ordination and production of department return on investment analytics and metrics. This involves recording of training attendance and evaluation records, administration and management of department computerized systems and databases, production of key metrics reports, coordinating training effectiveness reviews, running effectiveness analysis meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Take a lead role in preparation and co-ordination of Department audits. Working with ANI Finance team and Invest NI on audits and training funding.
- Respond to daily queries from employees, line managers and colleagues
- Liaise with internal and external trainers and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Responsibility for special projects to add value to the Department as assigned
- Contribute to department meetings and give input into department reports
Placement Students who impress on their one-year placement with Allstate Northern Ireland may be made conditional offers of permanent employment with Allstate at the end of their placement for further opportunities where available.

- All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
- On course to complete second year of a Human Resources or Business Studies degree course by the end of June 2023
- Required to provide all module results to date. Failure to provide marks will result in withdrawal from the process. These results will be used in the shortlisting process.
- 2:1 or above average in module marks to date
- Driving license with access to transport as travel to Londonderry/Derry & Strabane may be required
- Flexibility to travel
