Almac are delighted to be recruiting once more for three Engineering Placement Students to join our busy and expanding Engineering department as part of Almac Central Services.
The successful candidate will be Assisting Projects, Process and Automation Engineers with the engineering design, project management, commissioning and operation of plant and systems to the highest industrial and pharmaceutical standards (cGMP and FDA).
Duties of the role will include
- Assist with the introduction of new items of process and utility equipment.
- Work with the Process Engineering team to ensure that equipment is properly specified, designed, installed and maintained.
- Assist with the development and management of process control and documentation management systems.
- Assist with the upkeep of the environmental mapping programs.
- Support upkeep of the plant and equipment documentation system.
- Assist the Process Engineering team in the coordination of outside contractors.
- Support the coordination of procurement and purchasing activities.
- Undertake other duties in relation to the position as the Company requires.
The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and should be currently studying an Engineering based degree and completed three years of study to date.
