Your internship

You will be assisting the investment team across the full life-cycle of idea generation, fundamental company research, trade construction and implementation. The Internship Programme provides an intensive learning experience including:

  • Exposure to senior management
  • Formal review and feedback sessions

We are excited to offer a hands-on internship opportunity where you will engage directly with live projects and take on specific responsibilities that contribute to our team's success. This role provides a unique chance to gain valuable insights into the asset management and hedge fund industry, including our culture and strategic approach.

Duration: The internship is flexible, with a preferred minimum commitment of 8-12 weeks. The role typically requires 5 days per week, but we are open to flexibility based on the candidate's availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment that closely integrates trading, quantitative research, and technology
  • Collaborate with the quant team on a range of existing research and development projects and initiatives
  • Write high quality new code to add to research and trading infrastructure e.g., for building clean historical data sets to be used in live models

Development

  • Experience hands-on the constant challenges and demands of our business under the guidance and scrutiny of colleagues and senior management.
  • We will provide structured feedback and intensive mentoring throughout the internship to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
  • Top performing interns may receive an offer to join us on a full-time basis.

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated academic excellence, ideally with or pursuing a master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or financial engineering.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Matlab, Python, or C++) and familiarity with databases (SQL) and version control (Git).
