    The role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the innovative and multi-award-winning team that has developed the RF data converter sub-system, including direct-RF digital signal processing, around which Xilinx Zync® Ultrascale+™ RFSoC is built. As part of the Analog and Digital-RF design group you will be working on leading-edge digital communications developments in a complex mixed-signal environment using the latest 7nm and 16nm FinFET CMOS processes.

    The person

    This role includes the design, implementation, and verification of extensive digital signal processing to support both wired and wireless communications standards such as 5G telephony, LTE and WiFi as well as radar and other applications. Our multi-cultural team is based in our European design centres at Dublin and Cork in Ireland

    Preferred experience

    Recently qualified post-graduate and graduate engineers that have excellent fundamental understanding of what they have learned, an enthusiasm to apply the learning to create new products and an ability to work effectively within a team.

    Engineers early (up to 4 years) into their career with relevant experience in digital design using HDL

    Academic credentials

    • Degree in Computer or Electronic Engineering or similar qualification
    • Masters or Ph.D. in Computer or Electronic Engineering is a distinct advantage
    • Track record of high academic achievement
