The Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) business unit is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital platforms. As a team we are focused on driving engagement, satisfaction, and revenue through a combination of best-in-class user experience and compelling features and functionality.

As one of the enterprise teams within American Express, Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) works closely with colleagues across the Blue-Box to drive growth, margin expansion and marketplace differentiation to accelerate our digital strategy forward.

EDDS is comprised of several functions that drive innovation and deliver value across the entire customer lifecycle, advancing our goal of becoming an essential part of our customers’ digital lives.

Job Description

Within EDDS, the Enterprise Digital Member Experiences (EDME) team is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, americanexpress.com, Amex Offers, Customer Personalization and Amex communication channels (email, SMS & push notifications).

We have a global remit and, partnering closely with data scientists, engineers, designers, and other partners across the company, we bring the best of American Express’ payment and related services to life through our digital experiences.

Skills/Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Full-time MBA programme with a graduation date between December 2022 and July 2024
  • Min. 3-4 years’ experience in Agile Product Management roles
  • Proven track record with high impact or large-scale consumer-facing product(s) and a core product vision
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to act with a high level of autonomy
  • Understanding of building relationships and managing stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering business results and influencing decisions
  • An ability to deal with a fast pace and changing needs
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to gather insights from data

Preferred Requirements

  • Technical expertise in applicable front-end technology
  • Understanding of Design Driven Development & Design Thinking
  • Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
  • Adept at managing complicated technical requirements like APIs and other platform components.
  • Knowledge of reporting/analytical applications
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, Mural, Invision, etc.)
