    Our two-year Graduate Development Programme starts you on a journey to develop your career in a challenging, dynamic and supportive work environment.

    As an integral member of our the Amey Consulting HR team, our graduate programme allows you to be home-based with the requirement for regular travel (approximately once a week) to various office locations throughout the UK, as our programme is designed to help you gain real experience from day one, aby providing invaluable exposure to and experience of many different aspects of HR. You will be fully supported by a team of experienced HR professionals to ensure that you can develop and succeed.

    • During the programme you will be able to take advantage of a range of opportunities: Supporting our People Partners by working with accounts across the Amey Consulting business, this could include experience across employee relations, TUPE, organisational design, coaching and mentoring.
    • The opportunity to both lead and support key People Plan priorities
    • Working with our Learning and Development Business Partner on specific Talent initiatives including ownership of our annual talent cycle and the opportunity to develop targeted talent initiatives
    • Working with our Resourcing team and Inclusion specialist, you will have the opportunity to get involved in progressing our EDI strategy
    • Working as part of our Organisational Development practice within our Advisory business, tackling HR related challenges for our external clients

    Over your first two years, you’ll cover personal development, business skills and business improvement techniques, developing your knowledge and skills to help fulfil your potential, enabling you to move into an operational HR management role at the end of your programme.

    • Minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in HR, Psychology or a Business-related discipline OR currently studying a Masters in HR
    • Available to join our programme from October 2022
    • Drive and ambition, with a passion for continuously developing your knowledge and skills and desire to study towards the CIPD Level 7
    • Effective communication and rapport-building skills with a collaborative approach to teamworking
    • Highly numerate, comfortable analysing and using data to support management decision making
    • Creative thinking and commercial acumen
