GSS is an established shared services function which comprises of Transactional Services, People Services, Customer Services, Performance and Improvement and Master Data functions. Headcount for ABS as a total is circa 200 people.
The role is within the Master Data function which includes Vendor Master Data, P Cards, SAP Catalogues (Materials Management), Procurement Admin and Corporate project support circa 4 people.
This role will offer you in your placement year experience in the Master Data team within the Group Shared Service function. Rotation between the 5 areas of responsibility will provide an overview to the Procurement Master Data lifecycle, operational use of SAP Procurement ERP, in addition to influencing continuous improvement within the function.
Partnering with our stakeholders to establish solid working relationships, with a prime focus on delivering efficient and effective master data management, compliance, and governance.
You will be responsible for:
- Timely and accurate processing of supplier SAP data
- Supplier Web Portal User Profile Management
- Data compliance reviews
- Resolution of vendor and stakeholder queries
- Project involvement where VMD is impacted.
- Timely and accurate processing of supplier SAP catalogue data
- Review of invoice price queries to SAP catalogues
- Supplier Web Portal Product Profile Management
- Data compliance reviews
- Resolution of vendor and stakeholder queries
- Project involvement where SAP Cats is impacted.
- Daily Purchasing Card Uplifts and Merchant Category Management
- New card application process
- Leavers Process
- App Access
- Card failure management for supplier web portals
- Resolution of vendor and stakeholder queries
- Timely processing of Intranet Design and Updates
- Document Management for Processes, Policies and Procedures
- Purchase Order creation and goods receipting
- Credit applications
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Working towards a business degree with aspects of Project Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain Management and/or Procurement''
- Be able to start the placement in November 2023
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sound communication and advisory skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers within the business.
