    About the role

    We are looking for a well-rounded integrated Digital Designer to support the International Marketing team. You will be a key player on a small team creating marketing assets for Ancestry products and services across different markets. You will report to the Creative Director of International who is based in the UK. You will be the solo designer on specific areas of the business, but will sit within the creative team, based in the US.

    You will have strong design skills across various areas of design including branding, art direction and concepting. You will work on a mix of projects and assets across the customer journey including onsite landing pages, email design, social media content, product explainers and performance assets. You are proactive and agile. You understand the challenges of a commercial brief and are comfortable working as an individual contributor.

    What you will do

    • You will develop branding and creative concepts for marketing campaigns
    • You will create web design for landing pages, website banners with a focus on UX design
    • You will create digital marketing assets; static and motion for paid digital adverts, social media, and retail channels
    • You will work with our CRM Manager on email design
    • You will create 2D/3D animation/motion graphics eg. animated product explainer videos, motion performance assets
    • You will artwork images
    • You will manage a number of design projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met

    Who you are

    • You have a strong portfolio, showcasing a variety of work across platforms (including case studies showing what part you played in the project)
    • You have creative flair with strong branding experience working on retail/ consumer brands
    • You have excellent communication, organisational and collaboration skills
    • You have photography/video pre and post-production skills including; storyboarding, design, editing, animation, motion, sound and colour adjustment
    • You have expert knowledge of Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Premiere Pro

    Desirable but not essential

    • Video production/directing skills
    • Print design experience
