Job Description

As a Marketing Graduate for Trading, you will get the opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day trading and hedging transactions, including analysis of market & price exposures in commercial contracts, learning how to hedge the exposures, and understanding the mechanics around our commercial operations. You will join regular trading and hedging meetings and be exposed to trading operations.

This is a permanent opportunity for graduates who want to be considered for a trading role. Initially, you will be placed in a 27-month graduate development programme with Marketing rotating to various teams. You have the chance to make a difference in real projects and work across different teams.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Trader Graduate Programme:

  • Have a degree in Business Studies, or International Business, or Finance, or Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalents
  • Have completed your degree within the last 2 years or are due to graduate by Aug 2022. 
  • Have no more than two years of work experience. 
  • Team player with strong leadership potential. 
  • Ability to see the “Big Picture’ and take an objective view. 
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good analytical skills. 
  • High organisational skills, able to prioritise and work effectively to meet deadlines. 
  • Can do attitude and a strong ability to learn.

What to Expect

  • The first stage of the recruitment process is a review of your CV.
  • Should you pass the initial screening stage, you will be invited to complete an on-demand video interview and game based psychometric test where we will test your motivations and competencies for the role.
  • The next stage will be a phone interview with one of our Recruiters.
  • Then if successful you will be invited to our Assessment Centre with all the potential candidates.

Successful candidates will be required to complete background screening which may include a criminal check and validation of qualifications.
