An exciting opportunity has arisen within our AO Business team for a Junior Buyer. The role will require you to assist the Trading Manager in buying, developing and ranging branded products that support our B2B client sectors, achieve the category targets and meeting company objectives

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • To plan, source and manage a range of branded products in-line with client requirements.
  • To drive revenue growth and increase profitability in a new business area.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments both internally and externally always striving to develop the category and explore opportunities.

A Few Things About You

  • Experience within B2B trading industries
  • Ideally experience in Electrical Appliances
  • Organised with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple requests with differing KPI’s
  • Analytical understanding of numbers
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to an exceptional standardSelf-motivated, passionate and driven
  • Ability to successfully negotiate trading ranges
  • Ability to successfully negotiate incremental funds
  • Ability to find solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment achieving set budgets and deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and present results clearly and concisely
  • Supplier management - strong professional relationships with all Account Managers
  • Confident in communicating and presenting
  • Excellent in relationship building internally and externally across levels
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage & develop others
